See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

This blog is now inactive.

It’s been about a year since I first started talking about BLM and racism. I’ve learned so much and I’m continuing to learn even more. Some thoughts I’ve expressed on this blog could be outdated, so keep that in mind, please. My feelings were also very volatile, as I was dealing with depression that was worsened after George Floyd was taken from us. I apologize, I wasn’t in a good place. I’m prioritizing my happiness and I’ve been feeling much better. I’m still recovering from the PTSD I got from police brutality during protests but I’ll cope.

The carrd I provided above provides a glimpse into what I’m using to educate myself. The first link is to a gofundme to help my dear friend get top surgery. If you can, please donate to him and also any of the other links I’ve listed on the “Causes to Help” button. I’ve also included some educational links under that section as well. I will continue to update the “Notes on Books I’ve Read” over time.

I appreciate all the friends I’ve made on here and all the comfort you’ve provided me. Your kindness and support in one of the darkest years of my life, really helped. I’ve grown as a person and I hope that one day I can make palpable change. I also hope I helped at least one person in some way on here.

I truly care for all of you.

Thank you,

Faith :)

“Abolish the police LITERALLY means there should be no more policing.

Defund the police LITERALLY means that budgets should be cut to zero and the funds should be entirely reallocated.

People are not getting tear gassed, losing eyes, having their skulls cracked by “less lethal” rounds, and facing imprisonment so you can co-opt their demands into feel good liberal bullshit.

Do you think burning a police station is a way of saying ‘we would like to see a 10% cut to their budget?’ Do you think colonized people unifying under slogans of fuck the police, acab, and fuck 12 are telling you they just want to see policing as we know it reworked?

Of course not. Face the fact that abolition is unsettling and requires the kind of systemic change that can’t be achieved through mainstream liberal politics. If you can’t get down with that then fine, you’re not an abolitionist, but stop trying to destroy the righteous momentum of the angry masses so you can lie to yourself and others about the meaning of abolition.”
